Dr Scorrer looked after our daughter Molly-Mae after she decided to arrive 3 months early in April 2014. Everything Dr Scorrer explained was in such a manner that we didn't feel bamboozled or overwhelmed. Always happy to answer any questions we had and always remaining positive which put us at ease. The staff & nurses on the NICU ward are all just as equally amazing. They became our family for 9 long weeks. We took part in a couple of additional studies whilst in the ward, and we're happy to do this with the clear information that he provided us. Two years later, this week we have been discharged from his care, he Truly is an amazing doctor and if we have any problems in the future with premature births I would be more than happy to be placed under his care.

Dr Scorrer was looking after our daughter on the NICU. He is a great man, very professional, highly experienced, very helpful. The way he explains to you is very clear, understandable, and he listens to you as well. We are so lucky to have met him on this difficult journey. He and his team have saved our life - have saved our dearest daughter. There is no enough words to express how grateful we are. We will never be able to thank enough to him and NICU, but they will stay in our hearts forever..

Dr Scorrer cared for my daughter Matilda ever since day 0 on the neonatal care unit, he always had time to talk to us parents and listened to questions (however silly i may have thought they were) with ease and answered sensitively and honestly. I felt that my daughter was safe and very well looked after in his care and to a certain extent i felt safe in his care too as the mother of a very poorly child he provided excellent emotional support for myself and my partner. i actually looked forward to Tillys developmental reviews because i knew my questions would be answered in full, my daughter would have a full health review and i would walk away after the appointment feeling that for this point in Tillys life she was being well cared for. Tilly actually spoke and played with Dr Scorrer at her appointments which just shows how friendly and easy to approach my daughter found him, most other health professionals she doesn't see very often he is very worried about and will not approach, e.g. the GP. At the time of Matildas most recent and very last appointment with Dr Scorrer i had just had another baby and even though she was not the reason for the appointment Dr Scorrer asked how everything had gone, if i had been worried about the birth and also if i felt that Matildas birth and treatment after had had any phycological effect on me and if i felt i needed counselling or any form of help which i thought was excellent care. He also asked how my breastfeeding was going as he remembered i had some issues getting Matilda to latch after intensive treatment and care, and he seemed genuinely pleased that this time around it was going smoothly. In summary, Dr Scorrer i feel, is an excellent doctor who never rushes you and explains everything at your level with clarity.

Dr Tim was a lead consultant following the premature birth of our baby in Sept 2015. The care provided by him and his team was exemplary; they always had time to answer not only the questions that all new parents have, but all of those explicit to a premmie. We agreed to take part in an extra area of study the NICU unit was participating in under Dr Scorrers direction. Again, his explanation of the process, the aims and the potential outcomes was extremely professional and he allayed any concerns we had had about the study. Overall, well recommended.
